- Place the tip of a measuring tape on the left side of the arched window in the top of the top bar, or on the windowsill if no blinds. Stretch the measuring tape to the right side of the window. Write this as the width of the window.
- Divide the width of the window by two to get the center of the window.
- Place the tip of the measuring tape at the center mark on the top of the arch and measures towards the bottom of the window. Record this as the height of the arch window shade. These are the only measures necessary for a full arch or eyebrow window; with bow window has the same width and height, while eyebrow window is wider than taller.
